Notice of Publication and Extra Chapter Rules

Greetings to all readers. The third book by the author known as Wonton goes on sale at noon today.

There is not much else to say, only this: if you have money, please come with money; if you do not, please come with your presence.

Everything else is getting more expensive these days, yet online fiction still pays only a pittance per thousand characters.

After publication, Wonton will try to update as often as possible.

It should be said here that it is not that Wonton does not want to write more, but simply that the pace is slow; the hands are clumsy.

Others can write four or five thousand characters in an hour, while Wonton can only manage fifteen hundred. There is no comparison.

Extra update rules:

For first-day subscriptions, there will be bonus chapters. Perhaps Wonton does not write well; the first two books had a subscription-to-collection ratio of twenty to one, so this one will follow the same ratio. The collection count has now just exceeded forty thousand, so starting from two thousand first-day subscriptions, one extra chapter will be added for every additional two hundred.

For tips, one extra chapter for each major patron, five extra chapters for each alliance leader. The two old friends already here will have their bonus chapters counted together.

For monthly votes, now that the book is on sale, if you have monthly votes in hand, please cast one. Wonton does not dare ask for too much: one extra chapter for every two hundred monthly votes.

For recommendation votes, one extra chapter for every five thousand votes in total. Right now, it is still about two thousand votes short of fifteen thousand. I hope everyone will vote more, after all, recommendation votes come every day, and letting them go unused would be a waste.

A small complaint here about the awful management at Qidian: they hide the recommendation-vote channel in a corner, so many people do not know how to cast one. Wonton will add a direct link at the end of the chapter then...
