Chapter 30: You must return to the set with me today to film!

"Don't you dare spread rumors!"

"The fight scenes inside were purely for realistic effects; there was no deliberate targeting of you!"

"None of us are discriminating against you!"

"You're just overthinking it!"

Producer Feng immediately denied that they were discriminating against Li Zhi because she was from the mainland, nor would he admit that they had targeted her intentionally.

"Humph!"

"I was beaten by Chow Yun-fat to the point of being hospitalized for several days!"

"I nearly lost my life!"

"And you have the nerve to say you didn't target me or discriminate against me?"

Li Zhi let out a cold snort, her face filled with rage.

"Regardless, you have already signed a contract with our company!"

"You must fulfill this contract!"

"Otherwise, you are in breach of contract, and according to the agreement, you owe our company one million!"

Producer Feng said coldly.

"You discriminated against me and deliberately used the filming as an excuse to abuse me!"

"You breached the contract first!"

"And you still want me to pay your company one million?"

"Impossible!"

Li Zhi said flatly.

"Heh!"

"You want to terminate the contract with our company, yet you don't want to pay the one-million-dollar penalty?"

"How can there be such a good deal?"

"You must come back to the set with me today to continue filming!"

"There is no room for negotiation!"

Producer Feng said with a very tough attitude.

The film his company invested in was scheduled for release around next March.

There wasn't much time left!

There were still many scenes remaining for Li Zhi!

If Li Zhi quit now, they would have to find a new actress and reshoot!

Not only was time extremely tight, but the costs would also skyrocket!

The film would certainly lose money!

They would never allow a loss-making situation to happen!

Therefore, the company would absolutely not agree to Li Zhi terminating the contract like this!

"I have already decided to terminate my contract with your company!"

"So, it is impossible for me to continue filming this movie!"

Li Zhi’s attitude was equally unyielding.

"Humph!"

"This matter is not up to you!"

"Whether you want to or not, you are coming with me!"

Producer Feng sneered.

"I won't go!"

"What can you possibly do to me?"

Li Zhi said coldly.

"Men!"

"Take Li Zhi away!"

Producer Feng shouted.

The next moment, three fierce-looking thugs rushed out from a car parked on the roadside, charging menacingly toward Li Zhi and Chen Hao.

"What?"

"Are you planning to use force?"

Chen Hao, who had been silent until now, finally spoke.

Seeing the three thugs charging over, he quickly shielded Li Zhi behind him.

"Kid!"

"I advise you not to meddle in other people's business!"

"Get lost as far as you can!"

Producer Feng glared at Chen Hao viciously.

"Li Zhi is my woman!"

"If you dare to touch her, I will make you pay dearly!"

Chen Hao warned coldly.

"Hahaha!"

"You’re killing me!"

"A pretty boy from out of nowhere thinks he can play the hero and save the beauty?"

"Don't you know your own weight?"

Producer Feng burst into laughter.

"Kid!"

"Playing the hero comes with a price!"

"We suggest you get lost right now!"

"Don't look for trouble here!"

The three thugs brought by Producer Feng looked at Chen Hao with utter contempt.

In their eyes, Chen Hao was just a weak, fragile pretty boy. They completely disregarded his warning.

"I also have some advice for you!"

"You had better leave here immediately!"

"Otherwise, don't blame me for being impolite!"

Facing the three thugs, Chen Hao showed no fear.

"Humph!"

"I’d like to see how you intend to be impolite to me!"

One of the thugs snorted and swung a fist toward Chen Hao’s face.

Chen Hao immediately pushed Li Zhi aside and, with a quick flicker of his body, easily dodged the thug’s punch. At the same time, he struck out like lightning, aiming a blow at a pressure point on the thug’s body!

*Thud!*

With a muffled sound, Chen Hao’s fist landed perfectly on the thug’s pressure point.

In an instant, the thug felt his whole body go numb; he stiffened and collapsed to the ground, unable to control himself.

"???"

Producer Feng and the other two thugs stared at each other in shock!

They never expected that Chen Hao would take one of them down with a single punch!

"This kid is actually a martial artist!"

"You two, attack together and capture him!"

Producer Feng ordered the remaining two thugs.

"Yes!"

The two thugs rushed at Chen Hao from both sides.

Chen Hao’s movements were like a ghost; he dodged their attacks with ease. Simultaneously, he struck out with lightning speed, landing a punch on a pressure point of one of the thugs!

"Ah!!!"

With a scream, the thug felt his entire body go numb, stiffened, and fell helplessly to the ground!

Before the last thug could even react, Chen Hao struck again!

He landed another punch on one of the thug’s pressure points!

The next moment, that thug also went numb and crashed to the ground with a thud!

"..."

Seeing Chen Hao take down the three men he brought without the slightest effort, Producer Feng was dumbfounded!

He never imagined that the seemingly fragile-looking Chen Hao would have such incredible skills!

Terrified, he turned and ran toward his car, trying to escape!

But the next moment—*whoosh!*—he felt a blur before his eyes!

Chen Hao had appeared right in front of him!

Chen Hao grabbed him by the collar!

"Uh... my friend!"

"Let’s talk this over!"

"We’re all civilized people; there’s no need to resort to violence!"

At this moment, Producer Feng cowered, his earlier arrogance completely gone.

"Civilized people?"

"Where was your civility when you were about to have your men attack us?"

Chen Hao gripped Producer Feng’s collar and said coldly.

"Let me tell you, there are police nearby!"

"If you dare lay a hand on me, I will call the police immediately!"

Producer Feng threatened.

"Humph!"

"Trying to threaten me?"

"I don't buy that!"

Chen Hao snorted.

The next moment, he delivered a heavy punch to one of Producer Feng’s pressure points.

This strike was enough to leave Producer Feng in agony for a long time!

"Ah!!!"

Suddenly, Producer Feng felt his whole body go numb and painful, and he collapsed to the ground uncontrollably.

"I’m warning you, if you dare come to harass us again!"

"I will make you pay a devastating price!"

Chen Hao warned Producer Feng, then quickly left with Li Zhi.

After all, he did not have a legal status in Hong Kong, so it was best to avoid any entanglements with the local police.
