Chapter 24: You Are Nothing

The three Huang brothers were completely unrestrained. Previously, with Huang Long keeping them in check, the three had acted with caution, fearing his disapproval. Now that they had driven Huang Long out of the Huang family and taken control themselves, they were finally free from any hesitation. The intoxicating power and status they wielded made them feel incredibly triumphant.

However, when a familiar voice reached their ears, the three were struck as if by lightning.

"Huang Tianyang, who gave you the nerve to run wild here?"

Hearing those words, Liu Zhenhua knew everything was under control. Master Tang didn't hold these three in any regard at all.

Huang Tianyang felt an ominous premonition, yet he summoned his courage and said, "Who is speaking?"

Because the private room was dim and Tang Xuan was surrounded by a group of women, they hadn't noticed him at all. Tang Xuan stood up slowly and walked toward the three men.

"Don't you recognize me?"

In an instant, the three men’s legs turned to jelly. They had witnessed with their own eyes how Tang Xuan had killed Zhou Hu. Given their own strength, they were no match for him.

Huang Tianyang looked at Tang Xuan in utter terror. "You... how are you still alive!"

In Huang Tianyang's eyes, Tang Xuan should have been long dead. He had failed to save Li Qin; how could Li Meng have possibly let him leave the Li family alive? Huang Tianyang felt as if he were seeing a ghost.

"Should I be dead?"

Huang Tianyang’s body began to tremble slightly. The other two brothers were as pale as paper. This was the most audacious moment of their lives. They hadn't even had the chance to savor the pleasure of their newfound status before hitting an iron wall!

Zhang Qi watched this scene in shock. It was clear that the three Huang brothers were deeply afraid of this younger brother of hers. Their eyes were wide with terror, their bodies shook, and every nuance of their posture betrayed their fear. What was going on? Just who was this young man that even the Huang family feared him so much? Zhang Qi racked her brain but couldn't place his identity, as she had never heard of anyone named Tang Xuan before this.

Tang Xuan looked at Liu Zhenhua. "What is going on here?"

Liu Zhenhua had just been slapped hard, and this was the perfect opportunity for revenge.

"Master Tang, these three 'President Huangs' insisted that Zhang Qi accompany them for drinks. Huang Tianyang even said that he was going to sleep with Zhang Qi tonight, and that not even the King of Heaven could stop him."

Upon hearing this, Huang Tianyang nearly wet himself. But as the head of the Huang family, he couldn't afford to lose face. Struggling to maintain his composure despite his crumbling resolve, he said, "This has nothing to do with you. I advise you not to meddle in other people's affairs. I am the head of the Huang family now; I call the shots. You won't have a good end if you offend me."

A cold sneer appeared on Tang Xuan's face. "She is my sister. Do you, a piece of trash, think you're qualified to sleep with her? I don't even hold Huang Long in high regard; what does it matter that you've become the head of the family?"

Zhang Qi swallowed hard. Was her brother telling the truth? Did he really not even care about Huang Long?

Huang Tianyang, oblivious to his impending doom, continued, "It is her honor that I am willing to sleep with her."

With that single sentence, Huang Tianyang sealed his fate. Using the status of the Huang family to threaten Tang Xuan was a monumental joke. Even the high-and-mighty Li Meng would have to kneel before him and call him master!

Tang Xuan struck suddenly, grabbing Huang Tianyang by the throat, lifting him high into the air, and slamming him heavily onto the ground. Knowing he was no match for Tang Xuan, Huang Tianyang didn't even have the courage to resist. Sprawled on the floor, he spat out blood. "I am the head of the Huang family! How dare you treat me like this!"

Tang Xuan stepped on Huang Tianyang's head. "Even your father would have to kneel before me. What are you?"

Zhang Qi and Liu Zhenhua’s eyelids twitched. Liu Zhenhua had seen the eldest daughter of the Huang family beg for mercy on her knees before Tang Xuan, but he hadn't expected even Huang Long to have to kneel.

Still defiant, Huang Tianyang gritted his teeth and said, "Isn't it just because you're a bit stronger?"

This comment amused Tang Xuan. It was laughable that a grown man could say something so childish.

"Without the Huang family, what are you? Look at Liu Zhenhua; at least he reached his current position through his own ability."

Liu Zhenhua was overjoyed. Master Tang had complimented him!

"Without Huang Long, could you have reached your position on your own merit? My strength is greater than yours, so I can humiliate you as much as I want."

Huang Tianyang looked at Tang Xuan with resentment. He had only just gained power and thought he would be riding high, yet here he was, being humiliated with his head under Tang Xuan’s boot. "If you weren't so strong, would you still dare to be this arrogant?"

Tang Xuan wondered if he was an idiot; otherwise, how could he say something so stupid? If the Huang family left him in charge, their destruction was not far off.

"If you didn't have the status of the Huang family, would you dare to ask my sister to sleep with you? Isn't that the only reason you're throwing your weight around and acting like a tyrant?"

Huang Tianyang was left speechless. It wasn't that he wasn't a fool; he was simply too terrified to speak. Because he had seen Zhou Hu die right before his eyes, he feared he would follow in his footsteps.

"Can... can you let me go?"

Tang Xuan said, "Apologize to my sister."

Though Huang Tianyang had been arrogant before Zhang Qi, he knew that saving his life was the most important thing now. As soon as Tang Xuan lifted his foot, Huang Tianyang immediately knelt before Zhang Qi.

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault. Please accept my apology."

If Zhang Qi hadn't pinched her own thigh, she would have been certain she was dreaming. This was Huang Tianyang! The head of the Huang family. And he was kneeling to apologize to her. Zhang Qi looked at Tang Xuan, her eyes filled with disbelief. "Little brother, just who are you? You're starting to scare me."

Tang Xuan smiled. "Who I am doesn't matter, as long as you're my sister."

Huang Tianyang turned to Tang Xuan. "Is that enough? Can I go now?"

Tang Xuan shook his head. "Unfortunately, I'm not a horse-herder."

Before anyone could ponder the meaning of his words, Tang Xuan struck again, punching Huang Tianyang squarely in the chest. His entire chest caved in instantly. Huang Tianyang’s eyes bulged, and he collapsed to the floor.

Zhang Qi covered her mouth in terror to keep from screaming. Liu Zhenhua’s face twitched uncontrollably. He had actually killed him! That was Huang Tianyang!

The remaining two Huang brothers were terrified out of their wits and scrambled to their knees. "It has nothing to do with us! It was him—he was the one who insisted on forcing your sister. We'll kowtow to you, please, don't kill us!"

Tang Xuan said coldly, "Get out."

The two Huang brothers fled in a panic, leaving Zhang Qi and Liu Zhenhua standing there, stunned and speechless.
