A Note on Going Premium-Monster Summoning Handbook(Drowning in the intoxicating maze of illusions)

Let’s talk about "Monster Manual." The apocalypse is a genre I have always pursued. My very first novel was set in an apocalyptic world; after many twists and turns, when I finally sat down to write again years later, I found myself drawn back to this theme against my better judgment.

Some say that Qidian is a graveyard for apocalyptic fiction. That is not entirely false. The genre once enjoyed a golden age, but one cannot deny that it is currently in a state of deep depression. Even now, I can still recall novels that left a profound impact on me, such as "Apocalyptic Cockroach," "Super Merchant of the Apocalypse," and even one of the banned classics, "Dark Summoner" by Xiaoye.

I do not understand how a genre I love so dearly and have worked so hard for could fall into such a desolate state overnight. Other authors launching their works in genres like American comics or multiverse travel can gather together for mutual support, licking their wounds even if their results are poor. But when I look left and right, I see only a scattered few, most fighting a lonely battle, while the majority of such works wither away after only tens of thousands of words.

I love it, I make my living from it; this is my career, and it is my choice.
