"Your cultivation technique is fierce and dominant, emphasizing the suppression of opponents with pure strength. If you can combine it with a nimble movement art, you'll unleash its greatest power. Among peers of the same level, you’ll rarely meet a match—perhaps you could even challenge those above your rank," Luo Hongyu advised.

The Dragon Elephant Shakes the Heavens Art was indeed a forceful and mighty technique, but Lin Yang had only just begun to grasp its essence. Luo Hongyu's guidance proved invaluable to him.

"All right, that's enough for today," Luo Hongyu said after pushing Lin Yang back with a single palm.

"Thank you, Master Luo, for your instruction. I am deeply grateful," Lin Yang replied.

This bout had taught Lin Yang much, not only enriching his combat experience but also sharpening his reflexes. If he could frequently spar with Luo Hongyu, the benefits would be tremendous.

"Your talent is exceptional. With just a little guidance, you comprehend the essentials. Your future is limitless," Luo Hongyu praised.

"You flatter me, Master Luo. Do you come here every day to practice?" Lin Yang asked.

"Why? Do you wish to continue sparring with me?" Luo Hongyu smiled faintly.

Lin Yang scratched his head. "I know I can't hide my intentions from you, Master Luo. I hope you’ll continue to guide me."

Though Lin Yang had inherited the mantle of the Medicine Sage, true progress in martial arts required the guidance of good teachers and companions. Practicing in isolation, shutting oneself away, was nothing but an empty castle in the sky. Only real combat could drive improvement.

"I live in Building Five at Imperial Garden Court. If you have time, you can come find me directly," Luo Hongyu said.

"That's wonderful! I live in Building Eighteen at Imperial Garden Court. Thank you, Master Luo. I will never forget your kindness," Lin Yang said, delighted that Luo Hongyu had agreed.

Most martial artists were secretive and reluctant to share their knowledge. Even masters often withheld their ultimate moves from their disciples. Luo Hongyu’s generous spirit made Lin Yang both grateful and admiring.

With that, Luo Hongyu left the mountain first.

Lin Yang returned home and began searching for cultivation techniques in his Qiankun Pouch. This pouch, left to him by the Medicine Sage, was palm-sized but held over twenty square meters of space. It contained many martial arts manuals, weapons, alchemy furnaces, medicinal recipes, and medical books.

Lin Yang first chose a set of internal martial arts called Pine Crane Longevity Fist, a top-tier internal style suitable for both Jiang Zuofeng and Murong Wan'er. He then found a movement art named Three Thousand Thunderbolt Technique. This technique specialized in agility and movement—swift as thunder, light as a shadow. It perfectly complemented the raw force of Dragon Elephant Shakes the Heavens, remedying its lack of agility.

Unable to practice comfortably at home, Lin Yang had breakfast and returned to Zixia Mountain to focus on the Three Thousand Thunderbolt Technique.

He trained until noon before descending the mountain. The Three Thousand Thunderbolt Technique lived up to its reputation, greatly enhancing Lin Yang's speed and reflexes. He darted through the woods of Zixia Mountain, stirring leaves in his wake and striving to move like a rabbit, as fleeting as a shadow, passing through a sea of flowers without a single petal clinging to him.

Strolling down the mountain, Lin Yang happened to meet Yu Ping and Liu Fuyu, who were driving back from the hospital. Liu Fuyu turned the wheel, stopping the car right in front of Lin Yang.

"Lin Yang, what are you doing here? We finally found you," Liu Fuyu and Yu Ping got out and blocked his path.

Lin Yang ignored Liu Fuyu and called out, "Aunt Yu."

Yu Ping smiled. "Xiao Yang, your Uncle Liu said he couldn't reach you by phone, and we thought you’d already fled Luocheng."

"Why would I leave Luocheng?" Lin Yang asked.

"Didn't you beat up Liang Kuan? The Liang family isn’t easy to deal with! Liang Kuan’s face is ruined, and he's in the hospital now, hating you to the core. He’ll definitely seek revenge," Yu Ping said, her attitude puzzling Lin Yang. At Murong Zhang’s birthday banquet, she had looked down on him—why was she suddenly so concerned?

"If he wants revenge, let him try," Lin Yang replied, keeping his confusion about Yu Ping’s attitude to himself.

"Come now, don’t be stubborn. You came to us hoping we'd protect you and help settle this, right?" Yu Ping asked.

"No," Lin Yang shook his head.

"Then you need money to get away?" Yu Ping nodded. "Don’t worry, your Uncle Liu and I will help you. Get in the car, let’s go home. I’ll prepare some money for you and arrange for you to leave Luocheng for a while, just until things blow over."

Yu Ping was unusually enthusiastic, actively pulling Lin Yang into the car.

"Mom... what are you doing?" Not only was Lin Yang confused, but Liu Fuyu was equally baffled.

Her mother had always disliked Lin Yang—why was she suddenly showing him such concern, even inviting him home?

"Quiet! Drive," Yu Ping cut off Liu Fuyu abruptly.

Lin Yang sat silently in the car, pondering. Could Yu Ping have figured out he was Mr. Lin, and realized it was him who secretly helped Zhicheng Group win the cooperation deal with Dingsheng Group? Was this why her attitude had changed?

But if she knew he was Mr. Lin, she should also know that the incident with Liang Kuan was insignificant.

Lin Yang was still puzzled. Yu Ping’s actions seemed opportunistic, leaving him unimpressed, but if it helped ease relations, he was willing.

When they arrived at the Liu family villa, Yu Ping said, "Xiao Yang, sit for a while. I’ll make a phone call and get some money ready for you."

"Aunt Yu, it’s really not necessary. You don’t need to worry about me," Lin Yang replied.

"Don’t be polite with me. I was as close as a sister to your mother, and your Uncle Liu was sworn brothers with your father. Now that they’re gone, you’re like a nephew to me. If I don’t care for you, who will?" Yu Ping patted Lin Yang’s hand and smiled kindly, just as she had years ago.

After speaking, Yu Ping went upstairs.

Liu Fuyu muttered quietly, "Did my mom take the wrong medicine?"

She didn’t bother with Lin Yang and hurried after Yu Ping upstairs.

"Mom, what’s going on? At the hospital, didn’t you tell Liang Kuan and his father you’d try to find Lin Yang and hand him over to them?" Liu Fuyu asked.

Yu Ping’s kindly smile vanished in an instant. "That’s right."

"Then why did you invite him home and treat him so well?"

"My silly daughter, if I didn’t lure him here, how could I catch him? Did you really think I’d treat him well?" Yu Ping replied, pulling out her phone to make a call.

"Uncle Chen, sorry to trouble you, but please come over. Lin Yang is at our house now, and I need you to take him into custody," she said, then hung up.

At last, Liu Fuyu understood.

"Mom, you’re so clever! Keep him here, or if he escapes again, he’ll be hard to find," Liu Fuyu said.

Yu Ping nodded. "That boy caused such a mess—almost ruined our cooperation with Dingsheng. I wish he’d disappear sooner. Once Uncle Chen arrives, we’ll seize him and send him to the hospital for the Liang family to deal with."
